AgileDelta™ was founded in 2001 in Bellevue, Washington.
AgileDelta's founders, through their many years of work in both the government and business
sectors, witnessed the evolution of business networks and the value that was created by
making appropriate data available to everyone on those networks. While network XML data
was readily available to those on connected, high-speed nodes, often times the people who
most needed access to that data were out on the far edge or perimeter of the network and
connected only via a wireless device such as a PDA or cellular phone. Limited by battery
capacity, memory, and transmission bandwidth, these devices were limited to sending
and receiving only small packets of email, calendar and contact data.
AgileDelta was founded to solve this problem. Utilizing a binary form of XML known
as Efficient XML™, wireless devices on the far edge of networks are now able to send and receive
rich XML data, opening up a world of possibilities for new applications that dramatically increases
the value and productivity of these devices. AgileDelta's customers using
Efficient XML in government and commercial markets have achieved size reductions of more than 99%, transforming simple wireless communication devices into
powerful, productive business tools.
In November 2005, AgileDelta moved into its current Bellevue, Washington headquarters and continues
to expand both its staff and its client list.
