AgileDelta is involved in extensive work with a variety of Federal government agencies and branches of the United States military, particularly the US Air Force and US Navy.

We have been an active participant in JEFX and JRAE exercises this year, and our Efficient XML software is involved in extensive testing in mission-critical environments. During JEFX, for example, AgileDelta:

• Integrated Efficient XML into the Cursor-on-Target (CoT) server and clients, SOF mobile computers, E-2C aircraft mission computer, Army Future Combat Systems (FCS) vehicles, JSOTF/SOLE, Army Publish and Subscribe Service (PASS), TBONE and a Combat SkySAT laptop.

• Processed over 100,000 Cursor-on-Target messages per day making them 4-5 times smaller and 4-5 times faster over the CNET LAN, TTNT airborne network, UHF SATCOM and Combat SkySAT near-space repeater.

• Implemented Efficient XML burst-mode, which boosted performance for high-volume SA feeds to 10-20 times faster.

• Processed all Airspace Coordination Orders (ACOs) making them over 80 times smaller and 80 times faster.

• Processed all Air Tasking Orders (ATOs) making them over 100 times smaller than 100 times faster. E.g., Efficient XML reduced a 1.2 MB ATO to only 11 KB allowing us to send the entire ATO over a 2400 bps SATCOM link. During peak traffic times (e.g., during live fly), the ATOs were sometimes 200 to 400 times faster over the CNET LAN.

• Extracted the Close Air Support (CAS) missions from each ATO for the SOF team using a 1-line query and COTS XML tools. Efficient XML encoded a 68 KB query result in only 697 bytes, allowing us to send all the CAS missions from the ATO over existing 2400 bps SATCOM links in 5-6 seconds.

• Integrated Efficient XML into TBONE to accelerate operations for TBONE remote users at Hurlbert field. This increased the speed of all TBONE operations, making XML up to twice the speed of their existing database-to-database transfer mechanism.
